Acupressure (P6 Point)

for Nausea

Applying firm pressure to the Neiguan (P6) acupressure point — three finger-widths below the wrist on the inner arm — for 2–3 minutes.

How it works

Stimulation of the P6 point may modulate vagal activity and serotonin pathways involved in nausea. Sea-Bands use continuous pressure on this point.

What to watch for

Sea-Band wristbands provide continuous P6 stimulation without requiring manual pressure. Safe in pregnancy. Effect is modest and varies between individuals.
