Regular consumption of beetroot juice or nitrate-rich vegetables (spinach, rocket) to lower blood pressure through the dietary nitrate-nitric oxide pathway.

How it works

Dietary nitrates are converted to nitrite then to nitric oxide (NO) in the blood. NO is a potent vasodilator, relaxing arterial smooth muscle and reducing peripheral resistance.
