How it works
Diosmin and hesperidin increase venous tone, reduce venous distensibility and capillary permeability, and have anti-inflammatory effects on the peri-anal mucosa.
Most evidence is for the pharmaceutical-grade Daflon product. Not a cure for prolapsed haemorrhoids. Dietary flavonoids from berries and citrus are weaker sources.
