How it works
Gingerols and shogaols have antispasmodic effects on intestinal smooth muscle, reducing cramping. Ginger also has anti-inflammatory and mild antimicrobial properties in the gut.
Safe for most people including during pregnancy at normal culinary doses. Provides symptom relief but does not address the underlying cause.
Several studies show ginger reduces intestinal spasm and nausea associated with diarrhoea. Long traditional use across Asian and Ayurvedic medicine.

“Some improvement but not as dramatic as I hoped. Might need longer to see full benefit. Still continuing.”
