How it works
Vasoconstriction reduces post-exercise fluid accumulation in the tendon sheath. Slows nerve conduction velocity in local nociceptors, transiently raising the pain threshold.
Apply for 15â20 minutes post-exercise. Do not apply before exercise â cold reduces tendon viscoelasticity. Use a cloth barrier to protect skin. Most relevant in the reactive/inflammatory phase.
