How it works
Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) reduces sebaceous gland activity, decreases inflammatory cytokines in skin, and inhibits melanin transfer (reducing post-acne hyperpigmentation).
Well tolerated by most skin types including sensitive skin. Can be used alongside most other acne treatments. Available in many over-the-counter formulations.
Multiple RCTs show 5% niacinamide comparably effective to 1% clindamycin for inflammatory acne with fewer side effects.

βSome improvement but not as dramatic as I hoped. Might need longer to see full benefit. Still continuing.β
