How it works
Niacinamide reduces inflammatory cytokine production in skin, strengthens the stratum corneum barrier, and reduces transepidermal water loss β all compromised in rosacea.
Well tolerated by most rosacea skin. Start with a lower concentration if skin is very sensitive. Avoid very high concentrations (10%+) which can occasionally cause flushing.
Several studies show niacinamide reduces facial redness and improves skin barrier function. Widely used and recommended for rosacea management.
