How it works

Omega-3 fatty acids shift the balance of inflammatory eicosanoids, reducing production of pro-inflammatory leukotrienes that drive psoriatic inflammation.

Effects are modest and take months to build. Best used alongside other treatments. May have mild blood-thinning effects at high doses.

Why moderate evidence

Meta-analyses show omega-3 supplementation modestly reduces psoriasis severity scores. Effect size is smaller than prescription treatments but meaningful as an adjunct.

Noticeably less frequent issues after about a month of consistent use. Worth sticking with.

Good results overall. Had to adjust the approach slightly but found what worked for me. Would recommend trying it.

Some improvement but not as dramatic as I hoped. Might need longer to see full benefit. Still continuing.
