How it works

EPA and DHA compete with arachidonic acid, reducing the synthesis of pro-inflammatory prostaglandins (PGE2) and leukotrienes (LTB4) that drive RA joint inflammation. Reduces TNF-α and IL-1β production.

High doses (≥3g/day) are needed for anti-inflammatory effect in RA — lower doses used for general health are less effective. May mildly increase bleeding time. Use enteric-coated capsules to reduce fish burp.
