How it works
Contains phyllanthin, hypophyllanthin and lignans shown to have hepatoprotective effects, reducing liver enzyme levels and inhibiting hepatitis B surface antigen. May protect liver cells from oxidative damage and support bile flow.

Multiple laboratory and small clinical studies show Phyllanthus niruri has hepatoprotective properties and reduces hepatitis B surface antigen in some patients. Used for centuries in Ayurvedic and Siddha medicine for liver disease. More large-scale RCTs are needed.
