How it works

Soluble fibre absorbs water and forms a gel, softening stool consistency and increasing bulk to reduce straining and anal pressure.

Must be taken with a full glass of water — taking without adequate water can cause choking or intestinal blockage. Can cause bloating initially.

Why strong evidence

Systematic reviews show psyllium supplementation significantly reduces haemorrhoid bleeding and symptoms. One of the most evidence-backed natural interventions.

Noticeably less frequent issues after about a month of consistent use. Worth sticking with.

Good results overall. Had to adjust the approach slightly but found what worked for me. Would recommend trying it.

Some improvement but not as dramatic as I hoped. Might need longer to see full benefit. Still continuing.
