How it works
Zinc inhibits 5-alpha-reductase (reducing sebum-stimulating DHT), suppresses P. acnes growth, reduces keratinocyte inflammation, and has antioxidant properties that reduce reactive oxygen species in follicles.
GI side effects (nausea, stomach upset) are common — take with food. Long-term high-dose zinc depletes copper. Zinc picolinate and gluconate are better tolerated than sulphate.

“Some improvement but not as dramatic as I hoped. Might need longer to see full benefit. Still continuing.”
