A mild topical corticosteroid that rapidly reduces inflammation and itch during eczema flares. Available over the counter in many countries.
How it works
Suppresses local inflammatory cytokine production and reduces mast cell activity in skin, breaking the itch-scratch cycle.
What to watch for
Short-term use only (max 7 days on face, 2 weeks on body). Do not use on infected skin. Overuse can cause skin thinning. Use moisturiser as maintenance โ not corticosteroids.
