How it works
Suppresses local inflammatory cytokine production and reduces mast cell activity in skin, breaking the itch-scratch cycle.
Short-term use only (max 7 days on face, 2 weeks on body). Do not use on infected skin. Overuse can cause skin thinning. Use moisturiser as maintenance β not corticosteroids.
Decades of evidence for topical corticosteroids in acute eczema management. Considered the gold-standard treatment for flares in all dermatology guidelines.
