How it works
Tart cherries contain melatonin, tryptophan, and procyanidins that increase melatonin levels and reduce inflammation. Also inhibits indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase (IDO), increasing tryptophan availability for serotonin and melatonin synthesis.
Use unsweetened, concentrated tart cherry juice โ not sweet cherry or generic fruit juice. High in natural sugar; consider this if managing blood glucose. Less potent than melatonin supplements.
Dietary changes
Consider speaking to a GP, dietitian, or naturopath before making significant changes to your diet, particularly if you have an existing health condition.

โSome improvement but not as dramatic as I hoped. Might need longer to see full benefit. Still continuing.โ
